Acquiring the knowledge and practical skills endorsed in this training will grant the participants and lifelong learners the ability to plan the required changes emerging from the new standard. This training will help you understand why ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and ISO/IEC 27002:2005 have been revised, as well as become familiar with the new structure of ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
This course enables the participants to learn about the best practices to implement and manage an Information Security Management System (ISMS) as specified in ISO/IEC 27001:2013, as well as best practices for implementing the Information Security controls of the domains of the ISO 27002. This training also helps to understand how ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 are linked with ISO 27003 (Guidelines for the implementation of an ISMS), ISO 27004 (Measurement of information security) and ISO 27005 (Risk Management in Information Security).
Through this course, the aspiring participants will understand the future role of ISO/IEC 27003, ISO/IEC 27004 and ISO/IEC 27005, and learn how to estimate the effort of transition from ISO/IEC 27001:2005 to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification.
